INSTALLATION SPECIFICATIONS AND TOOLS
DUAL REMOTE OIL TANK SCHEMATIC
Two standard Mercury 3 US gal (11 L) oil tanks may be series connected as shown. The hose from tank no. 2 to tank no. 1 must not exceed 8 ft.(2.44
meters). All precautions and rules for the filling & bleeding of a single tank apply to this two‑tank arrangement. No remote tank should be installed
higher than the outboard pressure relief valve. Dissimilar oil levels in the tanks at start up will self adjust during running to maintain oil in primary tank
#1. Oil need only be present in tank #1 to work.
