    New lower unit for my merc 115 4 cyl need shift shaft upgrade

    New lower coming from SEI. My merc had the 3 jaw reverse. SEI said I had to upgrade shift shaft, it means I must pull powerhead. Merc is not corroded at all. I have a lift tool. Any thoughts on anything I should do while powerhead is up?

    I am in need of a lower shift cable. I want to replace all of the bellows while I have the unit apart. Is there a kit available that has all bellows, clamps, lower shift cable, and gimble bearing? All glue and grease would be nice too. Is there anything else I should check?
