Hello.
Boat would not start on the water today after starting all morning.
The starter solenoid was not energizing.
I tried bypassing the switch with a screwdriver... nothing.
I took off the solenoid and got the engine to start by touching the solenoid hot lug directly to the starter lug.(battery cable still attached)
Can I get a new starter solenoid at the auto parts store... or is there a special marine type?
