Hello everyone.
I just did a lower reseal job on my 1989 30hp.
I was putting the prop thrust washer on and I noticed the washer hits the bearing retainer before it hits the taper of the prop shaft.
The washer has a flat area... and so does the bearing retainer.
Is this normal? or should the taper hit first?
