Control box beep alarm

2006 150 hp 980 hrs . Start engine and constant beeping alarm . Oil light is green overheating not issue . No water in separator.
Could it be a sensor related to water separator gone bad ?
Any thought about using until I can get it looked at .
I’m closing up our camp on island and prefer not to use my kicker for back and forth trips .
All thoughts welcome , thank you .

Thanks , it is putting out water . Is the impeller connected to alarm system ?

Go to the onboard separator and unplug the wire coming out of botton. If alarm stops, that's your issue. If so, float inside likely stuck in up position.

Ok, my fuel separator has no wires anywhere. Gas line in and out only .

Your water sensing bowl is under the cowl right next to the fuel filter.

Will do , repair shop jammed up with winterizing IO’s probably couple weeks
