I recently has to remove they cables to trouble shot an issue. I got them on the gear cable is fine go from forward to reverse and neutral just fine. The issue is am have is the throttle since I took the cables off I can't get the speed out it like it did prior to removing them. Any suggestions...
I posted a few weeks ago about high RPMs and not going in and out of gear. I got that issue fixed. While diagnosing that issue I had to remove cables from the engine. Since I have remove the cables and put them back on I can't get the boat to run as fast as it did. How do you adjust the throttle...
My Tj90tlets has done this twice. I am coming into the dock it will not shift into reverse and the RPMs go to 6K. When you turn the key off and refire the engine it like it is in gear and the RPMs spike. I am sure it is in the linkage but I am not sure what is causing it. When I took the boat...
What should be the normal rate of fuel consumption on a tj90tlets at 4K RPMs per hour? Mine seems high. I did replace the VRO with a fuel pump and I do have a pretty strong smell of gas. Does the pump put my fuel in the carbs and it isn't burning it up?
I have doing some work on a 1993 tj90tlets on a suntracker and it runs great at about 3K RPMs. 1K to 2k is jerk and sputters. Any ideas? The carbs were rebuilt , I did switch out the VRO for just a fuel pump. The plugs were replaced recently.
My VRO is leaking and when I removed the VRO I noticed a set of treads and bolt with a ring on the block right above the vacuum for the VRO. My question is can I mount a fuel pump there. It looks like that is what it is made for?
