Honda oil pressure issue

Hello all, I have twin '13 Honda 250 on a 30ft CC. Replaced O2 sensors on both under warranty, BUT the last 2 years I also have had oil pressure alarms going off on one my engines when throttling down from WOT. This usually happens around 3000-3100 rpm after WOT. Replaced the LP and HP oil pressure sensors last season, but the alarm still goes off, however not as often but still a problem. Have tested oil pressure using manual gauges, and also run good oil and change filter every
season plus maintain the engines properly.

Did a check on endplay two years ago, but Honda claimed it was within set tolerances.

Honda Norway wants us to check cables from the sensor to the ECU, but I wonder if this might be an ECU issue? Grateful for any help!

Not an expert on your outboard but just wanted to mention oil aeration. If the oil gets aerated and foams up for some reason, the pump can get starved for liquid and, essentially, pump air temporarily. The leading cause of aeration of the oil is overfilling. While you may very well be right about it being an electronic issue, I know it wouldn't hurt if you tried running your oil level a bit lower if you're in the habit of having it right to the full mark. Running the outboard with the level between the "ADD" and "FULL" marks temporarily as a test won't hurt anything.

What oil filters and and what oil are you using? What oil pressure do you have at idle and 3000 rpm and how long had the engine been running when you checked? It needs to be at operating temp which means after at least half and hour approx 3500 rpm min.
