Hello All
1st day, 1st thread. My Honda BF40A for the first time after years of reliable operation my main fuse, 30A mini fuse blows. Only thing different from years past is a new AGL battery, Duracell 12V 35AH AGM. Exact replacement from years earlier. I replaced my battery as a little paranoia set in just before a remote adventure in Alaska. Curious if the AGM type battery has anything to do with added amperage draw. The lone accessory is a Raymarine, Dragonfly Pro 7. Stabicraft 1410 Frontier wired for twin battery but only operating with one battery. Small battery selected to take advantage of the gunnel comb for uncluttered floor space, and balanced loading for single operator (captains kind of a big boy). This is the third AGL battery of that size that I've operated, second go this brand, previous brand was Interstate, same size. Hope to hear some sound technical insights. Thanks for your attention and feedback.
