Honda BF250 Corrosion problems

Honda does not keep their word about their warranty. Supposedly as good the last day as the first day.
I have a Honda outboard 250 with less that 200 hours on it and the lower end oil screw has corroded so badly that it is falling out. the motor has been kept in mint condition. I don't feel safe with the motor and Honda said it is not their problem and were even nasty about it

Honda are not responsible for corrosion through electrolysis, that kind of issue is usually caused by stray current and should be checked out by a marine electrician.

I'm currently dealing with the same issue. what was the final result and how did you fix the problem

See my comment previously, that issue will only be caused by stray current from boat electrical, transducer etc. Grt a marine electrician to check ot out. Honda will not warrant corrosion caused by electrolysis, no manufacturer will.
