The 150 amp fuse is for the charging circuit only. The motor should run without it...and you should get an alarm letting you know
First make sure you are getting voltage to the motor. Does the trim switch on the motor work both up and down? If it does, that is a pretty good indication, that you have voltage there. If not, then trouble shoot battery cables or battery switch as Chawk suggested.
If you have voltage at the motor.....does the trim work at the shifter? And.....do your gauges come on when the key is turned on? If so, then you have voltage to the keyswitch.
When you turn on the key switch.....12v is fed to one side of the lights. At the same time, the main relay is operated, turning on the ECU, which sends a two second ground to each of the lights.
You just have to figure out....do you have the 12v? Do you have the grounds? Does the main relay work? Is the ECU ok?
Two things you did not say.....does the engine run? Do you have two or four lights? If so, that will answers some of the above questions.
It may turn out that it is as simple as one the harness connectors at the engine or the engine is disconnected or pins are corroded. If you have four lights, two lights are activated through one connector and the other two lights through another. So, if there are four lights and none come on, one disconnected connector is jprobably not the problem....
I know....a lot of questions for something as simple as lights.
