Looking for information on weather a 2002 Honda 225 can be connected for NMEA . Any help would be greatly appreciated.

No. I researched the heck on this issue when I first got my 2007 BF 225. I could find no way it could be done.

I seriously doubt it, but you could check the manual for that model. The standard was set around that time, but adoption hasn't been universal.
