It started 2 years ago less frequent at first. The engine wouldn't start( BF200 ). Checked and cleaned electrical connections then it would start. This happened several times during the season. Beginning of last season went to boat it wouldn't start. Took it to a dealer who is supposed to be the best in the area had to wait 3 weeks for the appointment. Checked the engine couldn't find anything wrong. Drove the boat back to the slip. Went fishing it ran great. Came down a couple of days later it wouldn't start.
Took it to a friends mechanic he never called so I figured he didn't look at it. Took the boat to another mechanic who is still working on it. After replacing fuel pressure regulator 3 injectors he thinks he found the problem. The VST needle valve is stuck closed. I hope this is the problem.
