You can also pull the top four plug wires and it starts and runs the same with the plug wires offI’m going to check that switch but all the compression is 120 in all the cylinders. I’ll update you when I check the switch. Thanks for the input. The ignition parts was replaced because the timer base was bad and everyone I talk to said everything else will follow so it’s best to replace it. All in the motor has been sitting for about five years. All the carburetors has been cleaned fuel lines replaced new fuel filters, new prime bulb, you can actually start the motor and spray gas into the carburetors in the top four doesn’t change anything but the bottom two will flood out
Does spark jump a gap of 3/8" on all leads ?-----Sounds like there is no spark on top 4 cylinders.----Who decided to replace these ignition parts ?----New or used parts ?----Wires hooked up correctly from power pack to the coils ?
What’s a good way to test itEither bad parts from CDI or stator has weak output on that side.
