    accelerator pump ball

    Hi - I've got a Rochester 2 Jet carburetor with the little (aluminium?) ball for the accelerator pump stuck in the hole in the housing, where it goes in and out of. What's the best way to get that ball freed up so it will move? Heat? A penetrant of some kind? Any help would be appreciated...

    Cleaning up the carb question - 2 Jet Rochester

    I have a Rochester 2 Jet carb. I have it apart to clean it up due to some problems with the engine loosing power at full throttle. But over in the accelerator pump area, the little ball bearing is well stuck in the hole. I haven't managed to get it out (would welcome ideas), someone suggested...
