    starter and flywheel won't mesh

    I have a 1980 70hp Evinrude model E70ELCSA. The starter and flywheel teeth won't mesh together, I just replaced the starter and same thing. The teeth just barely touch (tooth end to tooth end). I've spent about 3 - 4 hours looking up part numbers for the flywheel, but I don't see any numbers...
