    hard going into reverse?

    Volvo Penta 270. When the boat is not running goes in out of forward and reverse fine. With engine on it sometimes is hard to go into reverse. It will go but not as easy as forward. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance !!!! Anyone know the cost approx in the Pac nw for an outdrive rebuild complete?

    Hot volvo Penta 270?

    Hot noticed the other day steam coming from the top of my 270 out drive. Put my hand on the top and it was hot. Hauled it, drained oil. Fairly clean, didn't smell like mineral gear oil but felt heavy? Removed prop shaft and gear to check slinger. Everything looked healthy no metal shavings...

    AQ 131 Little to no oil in filter????????

    Swapped a B230 in my boat. Runs great. Been out on plenty of trips. No running issues. went to change oil and the filter element was saturated with oil but very little to none in filter. No funny noises out on the water. Never installed the oil pressure switch from my old marine motor so no clue...

    96 Evinrude 15 leaking water from shift rod??

    My motor appears to be leaking water from the shift shaft seal just bellow the clamp and mid section. Why? Help please! Thanks!
