    outdrive vibration

    Alpha 1 Gen 2 outdrive vibration. Looks like I bent my prop shaft prop shows a slite wobble running with the muffs on. Is it possible to have prop shaft straightend.

    water temp 4.3 freshwater intake

    Running with the muffs on boat runs at 160. Looking at motor from inside the boat right exaust manifold is cold to the touch. left side hot but can hold hand on it but seem to be gaining temp

    Fishing this morning I found a sand bar that stopped boat completely. Got the boat off and fired up then noticed temp was running up tp 175 then back of to 155. Kept doing this the rest of the morning.Used to run a steady 160 before. Any Ideas why? Sand in the thermostat maybe? 4.3 gen 2 alpha 1

    coupler problems

    I can`t seem to keep a coupler from failing. Engine alignment seems fine. Have been told bent flywheel, crankshaft dampner. bad motor mounts. Any other ideas would be appreciated.

    Just got done changing gimbal bearing and started boat with water boot. A small trickle of water is coming out of exaust. Is this normal or do I have a problem.

    Gimbal bearing

    I have a won`t budge bearing. Using a 3 finger hammer puller. Trying to pull without removing bellows. Any tips? Alpha 1 gen 2

    Is it possible to change gimbal bearing without removing the bellows. Last mech who worked on boat failed to put alum retainer ring back in gen 11 u joint bellows.

    Boat 1999 Fisher 4.3 Alpha 1 outdrive. Not sure if it`s a gen 1 or 2

    Boat List 1999 4.3

    99 Fisher 19 avenger sport 4.3 4 blade. Boat list to side under power told it was prop torque. Not as bad when trimed. Any suggestions on how to cure.
