    Stalling out

    oil change on f50

    Changing the oil on a 2004 f50tlrc ser# 62y1006609. When i took the drain plug out, their was no gasket. Their was a thick metal washer. Was that the gasket? Thanks

    How to read serial #'s

    Getting an '04 yam 50hp 4 stroke. This is what was found for Ser#'s. Three different areas on the plate. 62YF50TLRC L1006609 T Also what spark plugs are recommended? New to the 4 stroke scene. Planning on changing oil, plugs, lower unit fluid, and anything else recommended when i get it. Thanks

    Water in lower unit

    Pulled the drain plugs today to change the fluid in the lower unit. Came out very milky.     "Hop up" a 25hp?

    Is it recommended to hop up an engine? What all is involved ? Would like a little more out of the engine. It is a '95 merc 25hp, ser# og157655. Any input, good or bad, is appreciated. I'm no mechanic, have rebuilt the carb, replaced the stator& rectifier and a few other parts. Thank You.

    '84 merc 40hp, kicks up when in reverse

    25hp not "peeing" constantly
