    this is the situation... when I run(during cleaning) my 1998 200 HP Johnson on the ears muffs I get al oil/water mix off the lower unit/propeller hub...so I was thinking I had a prop shaft seal problem...so I took the boat out to a spot I know where we snorkel and just have fun in the water...

    Running my 1991 200HP johnson on a tub at idle I noticed that the motor leaves lots of oil residue in the water, is there a way to safely lean out the motor in order to pollute less???? but with out sacrificing lubricity??
