lower unit pushing/coming out/raising out of the water when put on revers and given throttle.

Hey guys my 1998 200hp Johnson is coming out of the water(lower unit raising up), not holding the the trim down position when transmission is on reverse and given throttle.

any ideas what might be causing the issue? the motor holds the trim position when given throttle in forward gear, but not in reverse.

Is the manual release screw for the T/T in the correct position ??

I would say starts to raise up around 2000 RPMs...

Thats normal for Fastrac trim...if trying to pull it off a trailer or beach at around 2K it will overcome the check valves. The older ones would take a lot more pressure
