    Penta 380 outdrive tilt/trim not working

    when trying to use the tilt trim to raise the out drive, all I get is a "click" at the relay. I thought it was a bad relay, because at first if you wiggled the relay it would work. I replaced both relays and still only get the "click".

    Water leaking out of lower leg

    98 Johnson 200 J200cxecm, wasnt sure how to title this, just changed waterpump, after starting, seems like a lot of water is coming out of the seam where the lower unit meets the leg. the pee stream seems good, am i overthinking this?

    So reading through other posts, I keep seeing that only Champion spark plugs should be used. I've used NKG plugs on my Johnson for the last 4 years without a problem. What would be the difference between or the reason to only use Champion.

    Was talking to a boat shop, (boats and motors, wakefield MA, great place...) and they recommended Pettit as an alternative to the Interlux. They said Pettit is thicker and will hide blemishes better, and two coats are recommended instead of 4, and its a hair cheaper too, .. .will keep you posted.
