I have a 2001 Mercury 90 hp 4-stroke that is NOT fuel injected. I have ALWAYS used no ethanol gas, which in my county meant I had to use premium gas that I think is 93 octane. Recently the Fleet Farm gas station began offering no ethanol mid-grade, which is 87 octane. Which is better for the engine? (very little difference in cost).
