what manuals do i need?

My engine has OMC 909466 cast into it. What year and displacement is this engine? Are parts available?

you are looking at your exhaust manifold. 909466 is an OMC exhaust manifold used on a couple of different engine models.
model number should be on the valve cover on a aluminum decal
what year is it?

I have looked all over the motor and can't find the decal. I did find the one on the outdrive it is 981110, is it possible to cross reference the motor to this. It is a 4 cylinder motor.

Look under the valve cover will have the year and displacement get back to us with what is stamped there on the head.

The markings on the head are: gm 2778952, L 20 77, hecho en Mexico.

With boating season in Alaska quickly getting underway is anyone able to cross reference the information from the head of my motor to determine what manuals I need so that I can get this boat out of the driveway and into the water?
