What engine do I have?

I recently inherited an old speedboat, I have no idea of the age. The engine is clean and turns over ok but no spark (it has been sitting under cover for 30 years) I plan on getting it going but have no idea what model the engine is. Under the cover it has printed “Evinrude Motors D.T 204919 9/10/64” but I am unsure if that determines the age of the engine?
Maybe someone can tell me wha5 engine I have from the attached photos.

Looks like a 1965 model ,manual start 40 HP Evinrude.

There might be a model number stamped into a freeze plug in the engine block. Try any numbers you find in the model number search here: https://www.marineengine.com/parts/parts.php
