What are normal compression readings on a 1999 OptiMax 200?

I took compression readings on all cylinders with all plugs removed.
Starting with #1 they are:
85, 75, 85, 90, 85, 80
The motor was running well until the low pressure fuel pump failed and that caused the hp to fail also so I'm taking time to check everything.

Merc says 110 to 130 psi is normal on a "warm engine" with throttle shutters "wide open" and ALL spark plugs removed. A variance of more than 15 psi between measured cylinders would indicate a problem.

You may want to try another compression gauge..

decarbonize engine and try again with different gauge

DI engines with correct oil build very little carbon, if you do add the mixture to the fuel as if sprayed thru intake you can cause a engine to possible go it a runaway..
