Any ideas why my vro is mixing to much oil. Seem to smoke way way too much cold starting and gets better when warmed up but still seems to smoke more than it should

Check fuel line for air leaks.------Or run a test per the service manual.-----Too much typing to post that here.

I’m planning on pulling up floor cover and check fuel tank and pickup connections this weekend. I don’t have a service manual but I assume an oil consumption test would be next if no air leaks are found? Didn’t see any air leaks at any motor connections. Pulse limiter seems to be working fine. Planning on doing a compression test as well. But was wondering if a concern with the air or fuel diagrams in the vro could cause it to over mix oil?

Are there parts available for the oil side of vro?

There is 1 o-ring in there.----Plus a wee piston in a metal sleeve.-----Not much can go wrong.

They (OMC) in the early 90's had problems with the pump o-ring splitting and also the plunger snapping off the (T) portion of plunger.
