I would like to what this is for and should there be tubing attached.

Was hoping this site was active enough that I would get an answer pretty quickly. I have no idea what this inlet/outlet is or if it is supposed to have anything connect to it.

I’m mainly wondering if the tube is supposed to have a line attached to it or left open.

Yes it should have a tube that goes back to starboard head and attaches to the thermal valve

Thank you so much, I will try to locate the thermal valve now. I had no idea at first what the fitting was for.
