Should there be gas going through air vent filter, Thats what the shop manual called it
This site called it fuel pump filter 16911-759-003.When pumping the bubble up gas was leaking
from it
 
On top of the vst is where the filter connects page 2-59 in shop manual.
gas is leaking out of the air vent filter ,took it off theres a rubber caseing around the filter
looks like thats what protects the filter, my ? is. gas supose to come up through there, the filter was falling apart
 
There is no page 2-59 in my Helm shop manual. Fuel is NOT supposed to be coming up through the air tube on the top of the fuel reservoir. If you have the Helm shop manual, read through pages 5-85 through about 5-93 to see how it all is supposed to go together. Definitely replace the HP filter and get a new gasket set all around.
 
I must not have the helms shop manual. on the front of my manual says honda marine SHOP MANUAL BF 200A BF225A
A2-KO 61zy200e4 fourth edition.look part # 16911-759-003( Boats.net ),it will be under pipeing (fuel pump filter)
it go's to the top of the vst

Either the float inside your vst is stuck open or the fuel cutoff solinoid is faulty.

Check out these in your manual and you can probably figure out which one pretty quick.
