Unknown water leak Johnson v4 120HP - 1989

Hello All,

Just got my first boat trying to get it lake ready - I don't know much about outboards so learning as I go along.

I noticed recently that there is bit of water coming from behind the throttle plate. Any idea what's causing it and how i can fix it?

That's a water control valve. You can get parts to repair it.
