"This message was previously posted in the wrong category. Very sorry. New member. Anyway, this my sutuation. I have a 1991 ? Johnson 120, 2 cyc with oil injection sitting on a 1991 Seaswirl, 195 Sierra Classic. Just got it and little things are bugging me but fixable until now. The down button for the power trim, on the throttle handle does not work. The up button works and both work on the motor. I have tried to get inside the throttle handle to take a look. I took the screw out of the neutral lockout(?) button. It looks like the throttle handle should slide out and off of the shaft. It is stuck or ? and I don't want to force it. If I knew for certain that is where it comes off I would be a little more determined. As it stands, I don't know what the trim button problem is because I can't get a look at it. Can you help me with the process to get the throttle handle off of the shaft so that I can view the trim buttons? If that is what I need to do anyway! Once I get to the buttons I may have another question(S) but I'll cross that bridge when I get there. Thanks!
