Trim and Tilt 1984 Evinrude (Classic issue)

I have a 1984 40 hp Evinrude that is in constant need of repair due to it's age. it has a prestolite trim and tilt intograted piston/pump/motor unit. As you know these are difficult to find. Is there another component I can swap it out with or.... a creative solution for my problem (piston/onboard pump?)... I have been searching to no avail... Thanks...

put u a CMC tilt/trim bracket on there and never look back....great units,..do a net search...
