Throttle Sticking

I have a 1980 Johnson Rope-Start 25hp Tiller. Recently, my throttle sticks when I have it wide open and I want to slow down. I basically have to completely close my throttle before it reacts. On the attached picture, the spring in the middle is bent down and catches on a piece of the engine frame. I re-crimped the one side of the spring and that seemed to help. A week went by and I'm having the same issues except now it sometimes doesn't want to throttle down to an idle - the spring again appears to be the issue. Do I need to check other parts? What is that spring called so I can get a new one?

Parts can be bought right here on this site. Looks like you might be missing a bushing & the pin in the arm might be bent? See parts picture attached.
