No I've never replaced the cable. The linkage broke so I bought a new one and didn't keep the old to compare itJust another question....
Why were you doing this? Was it to replace the throttle cable by any chance?
Because, I do see where there was a change and the part number changed for that cable a couple of years later. If you bought a new cable, was it sourced using the frame (vin) number as reference?
I guess what I'm asking is....
....any possibility that you may have been sold the wrong cable?
Just a thought.
