Steering cable replacement

I have a 1986 performance gambler with a mercy mariner 150 hp outboard motor. My steering cable froze and I'm struggling to figure out what to replace it with. The cable is labeled. Morse A300623 150 in m37. It is a dual cable rotary helm setup. 150 in is 12.5 feet and all the setups are either 12 or 13 feet.

Replace the whole assembly with a Seastar/Teleflex NFB kit.

just my $.02 I would go 13' , easier to hide 6'' than stretch 6"!

That's what I was thinking. I'm an aircraft mechanic by trade and cable length is precise so I wasn't too sure on boats. Thanks.
