STATS engine diagnostic tool

Has anyone used the new STATS diagnostic tool ? How does this compare to the CDI package ?

I saw the STAT(Sierra) system at a Donavan marine show a few months ago, it is pretty much the same as the CDI MEDs unit. Both only test,read, monitor, and reset codes but I think they said you could reprogram a button key for a Seadoo which CDI does not. Both will not allow you to change or modify any EMM/ECM or install a injector or new ECU/EMM.
