Spark plug gap

I am replacing the spark plugs in my 1996 200 HP Johnson Ocean Runner. Does anyone happen to know what the spark plug gap should be

Latest book shows .030...I myself gap at .035

Ignition design lets the spark voltage increase before it can jump the air gap under compression..how much increase don't know but some engines will idle a tad better...JMO
