Nobody answered my other post so I'll try something different.


How do I research service bulletins regarding thermostat upgrades or dropping the temp by changing
thermostats to a lower temp.

A lot of people will remove the thermo's all together and install washers with 1/4" - 5/16" hole
mostly on hi-performance or race engines. If your eng. is running hot.. check for bad impeller
or obstruction in cooling system first as this is not the answer.

Do you have a water pressure gauge and temperature gauge?

There was a bulletin on changing covers and t-stats...does your covers have a dimple in the middle of them? If not upgrade to the kit from Pro Marine #9004K..... $244
