Scratch in cylinder

I have a 1978 85 hp Evinrude . I was inspecting it for rebuild , found a scratch below exhaust port in one cylinder, you can feel it with your finger nail but it doesn't catch. will honing it fix it or do i need to bore it? or will it matter below the exhaust port in the skirt area .?

Run a hone over it and forget it seeing it's below the port.

Post a pic....depending on scratch location exhaust gas can follow this scratch..

I'm going to hone this weekend , i believe it will go away. Again thanks for the input

Might erode side of piston, possibly mix combustion gas with intake charge..etc,etc
