Replacing VRO fuel pump with NON VRO Style 60HP

Hello,

I am in the process of replacing my VRO fuel pump on a 1987 60HP Evinrude Model: E60TLCUC with a non VRO style fuel pump. I brought the following fuel pump a months ago, (years actually) to do this but I do not think that it is the right part - OMC 438556. I believe that this pump is required to directly mount to the block however I dont think this is possible on the motor I have.

Can someone please advise whether this part will work if I just mount it to a bracket or if not what fuel pump should I be using.

You will also need pump bracket 318366 some screws and longer fuel hoses, the bolt in block will need to be longer also and bracket will need to be tweeked as I don't like them hanging in mid air...
 
Thanks for your help guys. Since I have the wrong fuel pumps Ill be leaving in the original VRO style pump.
