Hi everyone. A few years ago I contemplated buying a repair
manual. One brand was not to par I was told, don't buy. I want
To get one now. If I remember correctly, at that time the best
one was out of stock. Can anyone suggest a great book? Thanks

I have the Clymers manual. Since I haven't seen the other one, I can't compare. I don't enjoy how this one is organized, and the index leaves a lot to be desired for such a complex topic. But I do find that I can get through it with a combination of patience and the online parts lookup tools and exploded parts diagrams.

Don't even think about the after-market manuals - too many errors and omissions. Go with the official Helm Shop Manual. You can purchase on Amazon or eBay. Pricey, but worth every penny and will save you considerable bucks in the long run.
