regulator/rectifier install. 1998 Mercury 20 hp manual start

Can anyone please help me with figuring out how to get the correct one and install a regulator / rectifier?
I have 1998 Mercury 20 HP manual start. I am told by Mercury that I have all I need to add the battery charger kit #62351A10, so that makes me believe that I have a lighting stator on this motor. I have been trying to figure out wire colors from diagrams but have not found one that matches my wires exactly. I think the green/white and the white/green are my ac wires from that stator but that's where I need the help. They do come into the wire wire plug area separately but appear to go into the electrical "brainbox" with the other wires. The green and green /yellow feed the spark plugs, so again, I'm guessing the green/white and white/ green are my a/c accessory wires. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
In looking at the regulator/rectifiers, non of the wire colors seem to match up either. I would again assume the two same color wires would match up with the two from the stator and the black the ground, but there are 5 wire, 6 wire etc. parts. How do you determine the correct one?
Again, thank you for any help.

Are you sure you have the charging coils on that motor? None of.the.wires in your pic are charging wires.

Thanks for answering.
I inquired with Mercury. They said I had all I needed to install the #62351A10 part, the battery charger kit. I asked specifically if I had a lighting stator or accessory stator and was told yes and I only needed the part. That's why I'm confused. The only thing I was figuring was the green/white and the white/green come in from another source and are by themselves until they go to the wire plugs but then they go into the control box.

That kit comes with just the 3 terminal rectfier/regulator and wire sections and wire plugs. I keep getting more confused!!!!!

The "1999 and newer" had the red stator with the charge (capacity).

On the 98 model if you don't have two yellow (or 1 grey/1 yellow) wires coming from the stator and going to an "isolation block" (just a little rectangle with two posts to ground out the 2 wires (if not connected to a rectifier) from the charge/lighting stator) then you don't have what you need regardless of what Merc said.

The lighting stator (just 3 bobbins with two yellow wires mounted across from the ignition stator on a 20 horse 2 stroke) was not standard kit on the 25 and under manual start models. The isolation block would typically be "forward" of the switchbox (back towards the carb) and mounted directly to the block itself (and clearly visible). I do not see it in your 3 posted pic, where it should be visible if it is there.

The rectifier type charging system on the 20 horse did not feed through the switchbox, it's totally independant of anything on the ignition side of the stator IF you have an 98 or earlier model.
