Rebuilt Evinrude 60 gets rough idle after it warms up

A guy I work with wants to sell me a boat 60 hp Evinrude think its a 97. he said it starts idling really rough once it warms up. It has new rings pistons all that… he said there is a crack in the powerhead that opens up once it’s warm. Could it be something else or is there a way to prove powerhead is bad ? I mean it could be a bad coil right? Much thanks for all the wisdom

Only way to prove its bad is to tear it down. Save your $$ and time buy something else

Got a new block only had 60 psi on one hole. The block was 250.$
