Just like a regular fuel pump...should pulse fuel from outlet hose to VS when cranking..

Having a startissue. Will spin but not start. Put an inline light spark tester on Light fires on all cyl. Working onow with fuel problem. NO faults when computer plugged in. Before motor just spun. NOW spins several rotations and just STOPS, like a hard UMPH... Restart does the same. Going to drain fuel and new filter. Will also check fuel pressure.(20-30 PSI) Any suggestions are helpful... Could be injector flooding and Hydra locking,lower unit problem or internal problems. Whats cranking RPM?

Using the bulb i can pump fuel past lift Pmp. to filter input. Removed fuel input to to V sep/f pmp. using bulb It wil slowly flow fuel into V Sep.. Remove fuel out line of fuel pump.. Try to start using key, Fuel will flow out, BUT with all hooked up I only show appx. 4/5 PSI at test fitting... Also checked fire at plug using a spark tester set to appx. 1/2" Good spark. Will hook up software tomorrow and start checkout of fuel pump/ Injectors. One other thing is the fuel pump VS just held by the single C clip??? Thanks for letting me ramble..

The lift pump fills the VS and hi pressuse pump uses fuel from VS to go to injector. If you only have 4-5 psi on Schrader valve the HP pump/fuse/PDP or EMM has a problem
