Prop Issue

Hi- feeling stupid. I have a '95 90 hp ELPTO that I am trying to remove the prop on. I have removed the nut and the retaining washer with the tabs. According to everything I've seen, the prop should slide right off but it won't budge. Am I missing something? ---Thanks, Rich (the liquid you see is PB Blaster)

Sound pop right off unless sat or brackish water

Thanks. That's what I thought. I doubt it's ever been off. Been used in salt but don't believe it sat.

Take a piece of 4x4 lumber an place behind blade of prop and give it a good wallop with a BFH

Thanks! I did some googling and understand it's not uncommon. At least I know there's nothing left to unscrew.

Thanks, I was able to fashion a wheel puller using ratchet strap material looped around each blade. Came off pretty easy. All dried grease inside. Will now do yearly.
