Part Number for BF5A Carburator Rebuild Kit

Would anyone please advise what is the correct part number for a BF5A Carburator Rebuild Kit.

I have an essentially new engine which has sat for some time, and need to replace the float needle, and any other critical gaskets involved in sealing the carburator after the rebuild.

Welcome to the forum.

Honda doesn't sell a rebuild kit for these carburetors.

Actually, they are VERY simple and almost no "hard parts" ever need replacement.

A thorough cleaning and a gasket set is usually all that's needed to "refresh" one.

The older versions are almost the same as the newer ones but with some very slight differences.

You will need to have the year of manufacture or the outboard's frame number to ensure that you get the exact match (if available).for any item your carb might need or that you want to replace.

The "if available" applies to older versions as some items are no longer sold for those.
