Outboard losing RPMs

I have a 1989 Mariner 150 Mag II. When running full throttle I hit about 5300 RPMs. The last time I took the boat out I hit a large boat wake hard and the RPMs dropped to 4800. I tried shutting down and restarting the engine but no help. I noticed now it has some difficulty getting up on plane. Any idea what the problem could be or what I can check?

Check carbs,,sounds like a needle/float got jarred and level is off causing lean condition on one cylinder
