"ok, i got a 21 wa for free, its an early 1970"s hull with an omc v6 Model # HUFM19L Serial # Jo137492 now, if i did the research right its 155/3.7L(225)V6 engine,
Now for the BIG problem
1. the kid was running the boat and it blew a freeze plug port side #2(middle cyl.right side)
2. i brought the boat home pulled the plugs and there is water in that same cyl. all the others LOOK okay.
Looking into swapping out the motor........another issue ITS AN OMC! thats gonna be a problem
the buick 225 V6 seems to be the same block heads etc. for a replacement(long Block)
looking for some help should i try to rebuild this block? do I even need to rebuild the block would it be a head gasket problem ( manifold and risers) or ...........a complete repower is in my future, or is the boat headed to the landfill
thanks,
Kevin
