omc stern drive question

Does anyone know if the intermediate housing and outdrive from a 1977 235 hp ford is interchangable with a 1977 190 hp ford. It looks the same, but I want to be sure before I buy. Any help or advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks. Bill

all the parts books are online - you could go to the brp site and compare every part of the intermediate line by line to be 100% sure
