Thanks for any and all help

You have 3 places actually 4 places to drain oil. the very bottom screw is the drain on the lower go up about 6 inch's and there is the vent. Remove the drain should have a magnet on it, then remove the vent. Let drain.

Second one is the upper see the drain on the starboard side, pull it and the vent is all the way on the very top of the drive large screw with a dipstick, let drain.

Third is the intermediate, look directly behind the drive on top behind the vent in the upper drive. That's the fill hole takes 7 0z of gear oil. You may or may not have a drain, look under the drive on the intermediate, there should be a drain plug maybe not, if not you will have to suck out the lube from the fill hole.

Now to the tilt clutch housing that takes regular oil, there is a drain screw on the bottom, i fill mine with grease.

You can buy a manual here on this website # 3400 seloc in the right hand corner i strongly suggest you do and read and reread it and when you post back after you get the manual and have questions i will post page number to direct you to the correct fix or diagram.

You need a special kind of gear lube for the lower only, Understand ?????? Can be bought at any evinrude dealer.

Good luck !

I know I was all OVER the place in my 1st post ,thanks for ur reply, I 'm going to take it in to KNOW for sure about drains and vents. All I wanted I guess was a diagram picture of the stern to point out drains and vents etc .,

thanks again

drain water from manifold filled with anti frezzze,
you need to drain the block too - not just the manifold

You have two drains - both port side - one manifold, one block. Poke wire in after to make sure a flake of rust doesn't float to the drain hole.
