omc 3.0 Will Not Get Spark!!! Please help

I have a 1987 Bayliner Capri OMC 3.0. I was out on the lake and she wouldnt start back up. Got home and she started. Went back out a couple days later to check before I hit the lake and wouldnt start again. I am getting no spark. I changed the coil thinking that could be it but it was not. I am getting power to the coil but nothing from there. It has the electronic conversion kit to the distributer so there are no points. I spent hours now trying things but am down to thinking maybe the magnetic/electronic pickup may be bad? Any help would be great before I keep spending money on parts that are not needed>>>

check for corrosion on your ground connections. Well, actually check for loose or cruddy connections on all your engine wiring! if that's it then it's a zero dollar fix. Since it is intermittent, it's prolly a loose wire.

I checked all the grounds Next step is a new pickup I think. I read about all different reason for it but most are with points and not the conversion. I will recheck all grounds again.
